Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel is pleased to usher in a new season of festive offerings for guests to enjoy, with this year’s theme being “A Cavalieri Christmas”. Bathed in the timeless elegance of the Christmas season, the hotel will be awash with pine green splendor and golden accents, where tradition and authentic holiday charm come to life through an array of exquisite culinary, wellness, and cultural experiences.
New this Festive Season
From December 8, 2025 to January 6, 2026, Tea Time at the Tiepolo Lounge & Terrace turns into an indulgent celebration featuring creations from Executive Pastry Chef Dario Nuti, who pairs a steaming cup of tea with a festive array of seasonal delights: Christmas rolls of soft brioche dough swirled with candied fruit; festive stollen scones enriched with dried fruit and raisins, and served with a tangy bitter orange jam; a rich chocolate and pecan frangipane; delicate pampepato madeleines; spiced gingerbread cookies; a fragrant gluten-free chestnut plumcake; and of course, the star of the Italian holiday table, the artisanal Panettone. Tea will be served from 4 PM daily, priced at €35 per person.
As the evening draws near, the lounge will offer live music to accompany the laid-back atmosphere, where guests may enjoy and savor seasonal signature cocktails by Cocktail Curator Angelo Severini, a connoisseur of the classics and passionate about 0% mixology, who loves to experiment during the holiday season. This year, Severini presents two special creations: Xmas Negroni, a spiced twist on the classic, evoking the flavors of Christmas, utilizing top ingredients of London Dry Gin, Red Vermouth, Bitter Campari, orange foam infused with cinnamon and cloves, and a surprising hint of chocolate; along with Sparkling 0%, a sparkling, alcohol-free creation of Verjus, pear juice, lychee pulp, and a touch of lemon, delivering a fresh and delightful sip. On December 24th, guests are invited to enjoy the evening with live music and a sparkling aperitivo featuring blinis with caviar.

A Christmas to Remember
At La Pergola, the Eternal City’s first and only 3-Michelin Star restaurant, famed Chef Heinz Beck will present two exceptional multi-course dining experiences. These dishes will be accompanied by a carefully curated wine selection by award-winning Sommelier Marco Reitano and the restaurant’s acclaimed wine list, a mainstay on Wine Spectator’s Grand Award since 2004. On Christmas Eve, an 8-course seafood menu will showcase char, thistle, persimmons and black elderberry zabaglione, sole in dehydrated citrus crust with parsley root, among other dishes. On Christmas Day, an 8-course meal will highlight capon tortellini with pumpkin purée, Grana Padano sauce and white truffle from Alba, as well as Lamb with grilled artichokes and coratella sauce.
Both dinners will be priced at €680 per person and offer live music with one of the most breathtaking panoramas of Rome.
Uliveto Restaurant, helmed by Executive Chef Nicolas Cuomo, will host a Christmas Eve dinner with a 5-course menu, in honor of the Feast of the Seven Fishes, which will showcase a grand seafood selection of fish ravioli with clams, catch of the day ragù, roasted grouper fillet on a garden of vegetables au gratin with samphire sauce, among other dishes. Each dinner will be priced at €160 per person and will have live music performances.
On Christmas Day, guests are invited to Rome Cavalieri’s renowned Brunch, with live cooking corners, sweet and savory specialties, and festive entertainment for the whole family. In the joyful spirit of the season, Santa Claus will make his grand entrance on his sleigh to deliver gifts to the little ones. (€220 per adult, €95 per child)

A New Year of Splendor and Champagne
Rome Cavalieri welcomes all to celebrate New Year’s Eve in unforgettable style with two exclusive dining experiences designed to delight the senses.
La Pergola invites guests and locals to an 8-course New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner, complete with wine pairings, and will showcase wholemeal “maccheroncini al ferretto” with red shrimps, smoked aubergine coulis; turbot with winter roots, grapes, spontaneous herbs and white truffle from alba; roe, parsnip, smoked red chicory with acorns and carob cream (€1,750 per person). The evening promises live music and spectacular fireworks to welcome the New Year in style.
Rome Cavalieri offers another spectacular dinner experience on New Year’s Eve at Le Belle Arti where the evening begins with a dinner of refined delicacies, authentic flavors, and shared conviviality until midnight, when guests will be invited to the Terrazza degli Aranci rooftop for a breathtaking front row view of the fireworks lighting up the Eternal City (€550 per person).
Tiepolo Lounge & Terrace will also offer a night of bubbly, caviar, and a curated selection of fine delicacies (€280 per person).
To celebrate the first day of the new year, the Rome Cavalieri will welcome guests to Brunch with festive toasts, extraordinary flavors, and desserts filled with good intentions and accompanied by fun-filled entertainment for the kids. (€190 per adult, €95 per child).
On January 6th, Rome Cavalieri will host the Epiphany Lunch, with an à la carte menu of winter flavors that blend with the magic of the Epiphany as little ones play at the Kids Club with a special appearance by La Befana, who will enchant the young guests with sweets and small gifts.
