Earlier this year, Rens Breur stepped into the role of General Manager at Pan Pacific Perth, at what was and still is, a pivotal time for both the city and the hotel. With more than 30 years of global hospitality experience, Rens brings a unique perspective to Perth’s transformation from a gateway city to a major destination in its own right.
Under Ren’s leadership, Pan Pacific Perth is focusing on aligning with the region’s exponential growth, following the hotel’s recent $50 million transformation which positions the property to meet the rising demand from both local and international visitors.
Rens has held senior leadership roles with some of the world’s most recognised hotel brands, including The Langham Melbourne, Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach and the launch team for Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Hotel Operations and Development at Fine Hotels in the Netherlands, overseeing a portfolio of properties with extensive food and beverage and conference operations.
Rens has built a distinguished career across a portfolio of renowned hotel brands, including Relais & Châteaux, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Langham Hotels, and the ACCOR/Sofitel Group. He has since held senior leadership roles, rising through the ranks as Executive Assistant Manager, Hotel Manager, and General Manager – across North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Australia.
Now based in Perth, Rens is a strong advocate for the city’s future as a tourism and events hub. He brings both international insight and local experience to the conversation around Perth’s growth and how hotels like Pan Pacific Perth are evolving to support that trajectory.
