Melco Resorts (Macau) Limited (“MRM”) today announces that the Grand Dragon Casino will officially cease operations at 23:59 on September 22, 2025, while Mocha Kuong Fat will cease operations at 23:59 on September 24, 2025. The cessation date for the operation of Mocha Grand Dragon Hotel and Mocha Royal Hotel will be announced in due course.
Following a review of MRM’s overall strategic development, MRM has decided to cease operations at the Grand Dragon Casino and Mocha Kuong Fat, Mocha Grand Dragon Hotel and Mocha Royal Hotel. This decision has been approved by the Macao SAR government.
The closing procedures are being implemented in compliance with Macao SAR law and MRM is working in close collaboration with the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (“DICJ”) to carry out the closing procedures for the relevant venues in an orderly manner. All gaming tables currently operating at Grand Dragon Casino will be reallocated to the City of Dreams Casino at the designated time, while the electronic gaming machines at the Mocha Clubs that are closing will be reallocated to Altira, City of Dreams and Studio City Casinos operated by MRM in the Macao SAR, as approved by the DICJ.
MRM has always been committed to the protection of local employment and MRM’s local employees currently at the Grand Dragon Casino and the Mocha Clubs that are closing will be reassigned to continue performing their duties at other casinos and gaming areas operated by MRM in the Macao SAR according to MRM’s operational needs, ensuring the continuity of their employment and a smooth transition.
All customers’ rights are safeguarded after the cessation of these operations. Customers holding Grand Dragon Casino chips after its closure may exchange them at the Melco Club/Signature Club counter at the Altira Casino from September 23, 2025. The customers of the Mocha Clubs that will close will be able to continue to use their gaming slips (TITO) at Mocha Inner Harbor, Mocha Golden Dragon and Mocha Sintra Hotel which will continue in operation.
