Spread the love

When it comes to keeping the cruise trade energised and entertained, few do it better than Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL). With its 58-year tradition of tearing up the rulebook and redrawing the map of ocean travel, the company has just wrapped up its debut Experience More of the World with NCL campaign and what a splash it made.

In a six-week virtual adventure that spanned oceans, hemispheres, and plenty of travel agents’ computer screens, nearly 1,300 advisors signed up to discover the cruise line’s glittering array of destinations. Armed with quizzes, digital passport stamps, and a little competitive spirit, participants worked through regions that read like a holiday wish list: Europe, Hawai’i, Asia, Alaska, the South Pacific, and, naturally, Australia and New Zealand.

Six Weeks, Six Stamps, and a Sea of Enthusiasm

The premise was simple but brilliantly effective. Advisors participated in weekly modules, sharpened their product knowledge, and earned digital passport stamps. Almost 700 participants kept pace each week, while more than 500 filled their entire passports — proof that motivation is alive and well in the cruise sector.

This dedication wasn’t just for bragging rights. Those who completed all six stamps were entered into the draw for two spectacular 2026 cruises — one “near” and one “far.”

The winners, revealed with much fanfare last Friday, were Thomas Liardo from Cruiseabout Narellan and Amy Mortimer from Clean Cruising. Their reward? The chance to step aboard and experience NCL’s product first-hand.

“Huge Congratulations!”

“Huge congratulations to Amy and Thomas! We can’t wait to host you on board in 2026 to experience first-hand how NCL gives travellers more of what they want from their holiday, more to see, more to do, more to enjoy, and more value,” said Angela Middleton, NCL Director of Sales AUNZ.

Her words carried more than a note of gratitude. “A massive thank you to everyone who signed up and got involved – especially those who joined me each week on NCL’s Facebook Group for bonus Partners First Rewards points. Your support, passion for cruising, and eagerness to learn more about NCL’s offering mean the world to us. We hope you’re now feeling inspired, confident, and ready to share the benefits of cruising with NCL with your clients.”

A Global Fleet for Every Traveller

NCL doesn’t need much of a sales pitch these days. With 21 ships sailing to 400 destinations worldwide, the brand can claim a holiday to suit every taste and temperament. Whether clients are lured by the sun-kissed Mediterranean, drawn to the mystical temples of Asia, charmed by the volcanic landscapes of Hawai’i, entranced by Alaska’s wild seascapes, or inspired by the rugged beauty of Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific, NCL has them covered.

It’s the kind of inventory that turns the role of a travel advisor from mere salesperson into dream-maker.

Keeping the Momentum Afloat

Campaigns like this are more than just marketing theatre. They build product knowledge, boost advisor confidence, and help the trade turn more conversations into bookings. And NCL is not stopping here.

Advisors are invited to stay on deck with fresh opportunities. Destination flyers on NCL’s Marketing HQ offer comprehensive regional overviews, ship deployments, departure ports, and sailing schedules.

NCL’s Craig McLaurin will host a webinar this Wednesday to showcase the cruise line’s most popular 2026 itineraries for those who prefer a more interactive classroom.

Why It Matters

In an industry still navigating its post-pandemic course, engagement of this calibre is gold dust. By gamifying training, sprinkling in a sense of competition, and dangling the reward of real-life voyages, NCL has managed to motivate the trade and keep its brand top-of-mind.

More importantly, it reflects the symbiotic relationship between cruise lines and the advisors who sell their voyages. Both sides need each other and thrive when knowledge, confidence, and passion align.

For agents, the campaign offered more than a chance to win a free cruise. It delivered the tools to sell more effectively, the inspiration to keep clients dreaming, and the reassurance that the cruise sector’s great innovators remain firmly at the helm.

Final Word

With the Experience More of the World with NCL campaign now in the books, Norwegian Cruise Line has proven yet again that it knows how to combine business with pleasure or in this case, learning with winning.

The takeaway for travel advisors across Australia and New Zealand is clear: stay curious, stay engaged, and watch NCL. When this cruise line says, “experience more,” it’s not just a tagline; it’s a promise.
