Qatar Airways is proud to unveil its latest collaboration with renowned New Zealand Chef Michael Meredith, featuring an exclusive new Business Class in-flight menu for passengers travelling from Auckland to Doha. Available from 1 September 2025, the menu is a celebration of the Southwest Pacific-inspired cuisine.
Chef Michael Meredith, known for his award-winning Auckland restaurants Mr Morris and Metita, brings his deeply personal approach to food to Qatar Airways, curating a three-course experience that reimagines fine dining in the skies. The menu features an appetizer of cured salmon apple confit, braised short ribs for main course and a standout dessert of cherry pie with rhubarb confit, honeycomb and mint.

The new menu will be available to Business Class passengers flying from Auckland to Doha from 1 September 2025. Ingredients will be carefully sourced from local suppliers, in accordance with sustainable practices and seasonality to highlight the best of New Zealand ingredients.
This collaboration marks a new milestone in Qatar Airways’ award-winning inflight offerings and underscores its continued commitment to working with top culinary talent globally. Qatar Airways has been named World’s Best Airline by Skytrax, for a record-breaking ninth time, with the airline also taking home, World’s Best Business Class, Best Airline in the Middle East, Best Business Class Airline Lounge (Al Mourjan Lounge – The Garden at Hamad International Airport) and Skytrax Five-Star Airline recognition.
