Brisbane’s ultimate vegan celebration will return to the Brisbane Showgrounds for the very last time this weekend, bringing together a vibrant showcase of plant-based food and sustainable living.
The two-day event (Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st) in the Exhibition Building will feature more than 150 stalls offering mouth-watering vegan food and cruelty-free products including skincare and clothing, plus an exciting program of guest speakers, live demonstrations and entertainment.
Food lovers can indulge in everything from cupcakes and pies to Balinese tasting plates, burgers and smoothies, while also enjoying live cooking demonstrations and a special presentation on sustainable cooking by former MasterChef Australia finalist Simon Toohey.
The event will also feature a Business Panel Discussion, where passionate entrepreneurs will share their insights on building and growing successful businesses. Speakers include the founders of much-loved brands VeganYumm – Brisbane’s first 100 per cent vegan bakery, and OMG! Decadent Donuts.
Kids are well catered for too, with a dedicated kid’s corner filled with colouring activities, plus plenty of giggles and dancing as popular children’s entertainer Renata Jane takes to the stage on Sunday.
Brisbane Showgrounds General Manager of Venue Sales and Marketing Jago Coyle said they had enjoyed hosting the event since its inception in 2019.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the expo back to the Brisbane Showgrounds this weekend for the fourth and final time,” Mr Coyle said.
“The Brisbane Vegan Expo announced in June that 2025 would be its final year and more than 1,000 people are expected to come together one last time to celebrate their shared passion for plant-based and sustainable living.”
The Brisbane Vegan Expo will take place from 10am to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sunday, with tickets available online here.
