NRMA Parks and Resorts has announced plans for the biggest Camp Out fundraiser yet in support of kids with cancer and their families, in partnership with Australian children’s cancer charity, Camp Quality.

2025 marks the fourth consecutive year NRMA has hosted the much-loved Camp Out event, and this year, each of NRMA’s 45 holiday parks and resorts is taking part in the event, gearing up to welcome the most holidaymakers to date and raise record funds for kids with cancer and their families.

On Saturday October 25, 2025, NRMA is calling on the public to camp out in support of the annual Camp Out campaign. Travelers are invited to take a break and camp out for a good cause at any of holiday parks across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

Every holidaymaker counts in the 2025 Camp Out fundraiser, with NRMA Parks and Resorts donating 50% of total fees from unpowered, powered, and ensuite caravan and campsite stays that night to Camp Quality’s Family Getaway program, which provides families affected by cancer a much-needed break, for which NRMA Parks and Resorts is a proud accommodation partner.

The 2024 Camp Out campaign raised more than $180,000, directly supporting Camp Quality’s programs and services.  Since the partnership began in 2021, NRMA has raised a cumulative total of $270,000, including generous donations from guests and supporters. This year, NRMA aims to surpass this figure and set a new fundraising record.

Supporters can book their Camp Out stay via the dedicated NRMA page: Camp Out with us! – NRMA Parks and Resorts.

Holidaymakers booking a stay at any NRMA holiday park or resort for the weekend of October 25 can look forward to a real buzz in the properties as everyone comes together to have fun on holidays while helping out. Each park will host family-friendly activities such as barbecues, games and evening entertainment, with a dedicated donation webpage for guests to rally behind their park or resort in a friendly competition for top fundraiser.

NRMA Parks and Resorts CEO Paul Davies said the partnership with Camp Quality for the Camp Out event meant a lot to the member-owned organisation whose main aim was to offer families unforgettable holidays together.

“At NRMA we’re excited to partner with the team at Camp Quality for the fourth year in a row to give these kids and their families the chance to get away and have a holiday,” Mr Davies.

“We’ve made this year’s Camp Out event the biggest ever, so as guests can have a holiday at any one of NRMA’s 45 holiday parks across Australia over the weekend of October 25 and make a real difference,” Mr Davies said.

Camp Quality CEO, Deborah Thomas says the partnership with NRMA Parks and Resorts offers real help for kids and their families as they face the challenges of cancer.

“When a child is diagnosed with cancer the whole family is thrown into turmoil,” Ms Thomas said.

“Hospital treatment can be long and separates families for extended periods of time. Camp Quality’s Family Getaways offer time to reconnect during some of the toughest times along the cancer journey, whether that’s during treatment, on return from hospital or in the heartbreaking case of palliative care or bereavement.

“Thanks to the generosity of NRMA we have been able to expand our Family Getaway program to give more families this vital break and an opportunity to create happy memories.”
