Intrepid Travel’s TV series Intrepid Adventures is returning for a second season, this time diving into the heart of Southern Europe.
After a successful debut in Morocco, the new season journeys through Italy, Spain and Portugal, three of Intrepid’s most beloved destinations. Premiering this Saturday, 23 August at 9:30AM AEST on Channel 10, Intrepid Adventures invites viewers to experience Europe the local way across eight immersive episodes.
This isn’t your typical travel show. The series breaks the mold by focusing on the real experts, Intrepid’s local guides and the people who call these incredible places home. Moving away from the conventional travel format, Intrepid Adventures highlights the voices and experiences of those who know these destinations best.
Produced in partnership with Sloane Media, Season 2 takes audiences deeper into Southern Europe. Guided by local experts and everyday people, Intrepid Adventures goes beyond sightseeing to uncover flavours, traditions and stories that make these countries unforgettable.
From home-cooked meals and family farm stays to markets, music and timeless traditions, Season 2 brings viewers closer to the authentic spirit of Europe. Each episode captures life as the locals live it: cooking in kitchens, sharing meals, discovering history alongside the surprising tales that reveal the true spirit of each destination. The series uncovers Europe in the most authentic way: the local way.

Yvette Thompson, General Manager Sales & Marketing ANZ, Intrepid Travel says:
“Southern Europe has long been a favourite for Aussies and Kiwis, and this series shows why. It’s rich with culture, community and stories that go far beyond the guidebook. Each episode dives into Italy, Spain and Portugal’s vibrant cultures and is showcased by the locals. Travellers today are craving more authentic, community-focused experiences, and this series captures that beautifully.”

Maddison Clare, Executive Producer at Sloane Media says:
“With Intrepid Adventures we are redefining what it means to travel by showcasing the world through the eyes of those who live there. For Season 2 we wanted to go even deeper, creating an immersive experience that is not just about seeing Europe, but about tasting, feeling and living it through the people who call it home.”
Tune in every Saturday at 9:30 AM on Channel 10 and explore Southern Europe the local way.
Real places. Real people. Real travel.
