The St. Regis Bangkok invites guests to savor an unforgettable afternoon of culinary creativity and spirited camaraderie at the next edition of Cocktails, Tapas, and Friends, taking place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at The St. Regis Bar. Celebrating the bold and diverse flavors of Thailand, this vibrant Thai-themed gathering promises an afternoon of flavorful indulgence and sophisticated socializing featuring a visiting bartender and guest chef.
The event will showcase a harmonious synergy between The St. Regis’s leading mixologists, Don Bodinayaka, Beverage Manager at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island, and Brian Gonzalez, Beverage Manager at The St. Regis Bangkok. Both will present their own signature cocktails, including Framboise on Fifth, Amber Grove, Frozen Margarita, and a standout creation inspired by the classic Thai dessert mango sticky rice — Khao Niao, reflecting Don’s signature storytelling style through beverages.
This edition’s culinary component of the experience highlights Thai flavors with modern presentation, born from the collaboration between Chef de Cuisine Pongsakorn (Bom) Boonruang of The St. Regis Bangkok and guest chef Chatchawan (Bank) Varahajeerakul, Head Chef of Le Du Kaan, the world’s first Thai rooftop restaurant and bar, led by acclaimed Michelin-starred chef Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn. Highlight signature dishes from Le Du Kaan feature Gaeng Som Goong, a Southern-style sour curry with sea prawns, Tom Kha Pla, a refined take on the beloved Thai coconut soup with fish, and Kapow Nuea, a stir-fried rice dish with holy basil sauce, beef tongue, pickled chili, garlic, and cured duck egg yolk —along with more dishes available at the live station. The experience is further elevated by live music from DJ Joyyly, enhancing the vibrant atmosphere.
Cocktails, Tapas, and Friends takes place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at The St. Regis Bar, on the 12th floor of The St. Regis Bangkok. Priced at THB 1,599 net per person, the experience includes free-flow tapas and beverages (cocktails, wine, beer, or soft drinks).
