Talma Travel Solutions, announced today it has acquired a controlling interest in Solutions Travel, bringing even more advanced technology and capabilities into their already robust client offering. Solutions Travel’s intuitive travel management interface, a leader in its field, allows both travel managers and individual travelers to more seamlessly book and manage their trips, alleviating the complexity often associated with business travel.
Talma, one of the world’s 25 largest travel management groups, executed the acquisition through its North American subsidiary Brickell Travel, which is part of the group’s global expansion strategy focused on delivering integrated digital solutions at scale for enterprise clients.
Solutions Travel is a leading distributor of Spotnana, a next-generation, cloud-based travel platform that unifies content, policy, real-time data, and traveler support in a single infrastructure. Designed to support travelers anywhere in the world, this technology is a key element Talma and Brickell Travel will now have access to. With operations in over 40 countries and a strong base of multinational clients, Solution Travel strengthens Talma’s ability to serve complex, global organizations through modern, scalable tools.
“This acquisition is a direct reflection of Talma’s commitment to redefining global travel management through technology, scale, and local excellence,” said Iya Magen, CEO of Talma Travel Solutions. “Mark Walton and the Solutions team bring outstanding capabilities, and we look forward to supporting their continued growth as part of Talma’s global platform.”
Mark Walton, founder and CEO of Solutions Travel, will continue to lead the company under its existing brand, working closely with Talma and Brickell to expand reach and accelerate innovation. Mark Walton remarks, “Talma shares our vision of combining the best technology, client service, and proactive account management. The addition of our travel management interface, real-time data, direct content source information, and other integrated components coupled with Talma and Brickell’s purchasing power, global reach and already impressive offering will surely drive continued success for both companies and enhanced service for our clients.”
The acquisition further strengthens Talma’s position in the North American market, a key geography in its international growth strategy. Brickell Travel, in which Talma acquired a controlling stake in 2024, serves as a strategic hub for North America and under the leadership of Mitch Rodriguez, CEO and Co-founder, plays a central role in delivering Talma’s advanced technology offerings globally.
Over the past 36 months, Talma has completed multiple acquisitions in the U.S. and the U.K., and building a powerful, tech-enabled global network. With worldwide operations and projected revenue exceeding $1 billion by the end of 2025, Talma continues to lead the transformation of corporate travel through targeted investments in technology, strategic partnerships, and operational excellence.
Mitch Rodriguez, CEO & Co-Founder of Brickell Travel said, “The travel industry, though measured in the trillions of dollars, is still very much in its infancy when it comes to fully leveraged, connected technology. With the expanding capabilities of AI, now is the ideal time to align with a company like Solutions Travels and its integrated technologies; not to replace human expertise or service, but to enhance capabilities and the interfaces we offer to our thousands of clients and travelers.”
