Australian wellness lovers will have a unique opportunity to experience Thailand’s award-winning wellness property, Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary when it ‘visits’ our shores in October for one special week.
Winner of more than 75 global industry awards, Kamalaya Koh Samui will present its first ever Australian Pop-up experience at the renowned Aurora Spa & Bathhouse in Sorrento, Victoria from 13-17 October 2025.

It’s one of a series of events planned by Kamalaya to celebrate its 20th Anniversary year around the globe, which will culminate in a special birthday week of activities at the Koh Samui property in November.
‘For two decades Kamalaya has inspired and transformed the health and wellbeing of our guests, and we look forward to bringing a taste of our unique offering to Australia and empowering more people to take proactive and positive steps to good health and longevity,’ said Kamalaya General Manager, Gopal Kumar who will lead the expert team of therapists and practitioners.
Kamalaya and Aurora will host two exclusive guest retreats: a 3 day/2-night retreat (13-15 October) and a shorter 1-day retreat (17 October) at the Sorrento precinct.
The retreats will include insightful workshops and meditation sessions led by a Kamalaya Life Enhancement Mentor, an opportunity to book a signature therapeutic treatment with one of Kamalaya’s holistic spa therapists, and Kamalaya inspired cuisine. Retreat guests will also enjoy the acclaimed Aurora Spa & Bathhouse with immersive bathhouse rituals, float therapy and spa treatments on offer.
‘Aurora Spa & Bathhouse is honoured to partner with Kamalaya for this unique collaboration. Our desire is to combine the best of Australian modern wellness with Kamalaya’s signature ancient Eastern practice to craft an exclusive three-day immersion designed to nourish and renew. The retreat offers the best in global holistic wellness, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Mornington Peninsula,’ said Lyndall Mitchell, founder of Aurora and recent recipient of two prestigious industry awards: “Spa Leader of the Year” at the 2025 Professional Beauty and World Spa & Wellness Awards, along with Aurora being recognised as “Business of the Year” at the 2025 Wild Women in Business Awards.
