Sirru Fen FushiSirru Fen Fushi, the private lagoon resort and distinguished member of The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) collection, is gearing up for an inspiring month of activities this April, as it invites discerning couples, families and friends to unleash their inner artists and share heartfelt Easter experiences.

From 15-21 April 2025, Sirru Fen Fushi will be transformed into a haven of colour and creativity with a week-long Art Market for World Art Day, the UNESCO-led initiative that celebrates all forms of artistic expression. Guests will be able to come together for a series of expert-led workshops, including magnet art, beach bag painting, coconut art, sustainable bracelet making, and weaving. The Clay Studio will showcase handcrafted sculptures, and the resort’s in-house artists, Fizzy and Adu, will host palm leaf weaving and sand art sessions.

At Sirru Fen Fushi, art is woven into every aspect of the resort – including its commitment to sustainability. Nestled in the turquoise waters just offshore, The Coralarium is the  world’s first semi-submerged art gallery by Jason deCaires Taylor promoting awareness on sustainability, marine life and climate preservation. To coincide with World Art Day, a tour of this unique attraction will reveal how the resort is using art to encourage coral growth.

Visitors can also feel the beat of Maldivian culture with a traditional bodu-beru drum masterclass, and creative days can end with cool drinks and barefoot dancing on the soft sands of Onu Onu Beach, as the sun sets over the ocean.

Easter is a heartfelt time of year when loved ones celebrate the joy of spring. At Sirru Fen Fushi, kids can feel the festive fun with an Easter egg hunt and parade at the Swing Garden, followed by a special clay art workshop, and an Easter Pool Party to cool off in the afternoon heat! Then, as the sun sets on Easter Sunday (20 April), a grand Easter gala dinner will be staged at Raha Market, the bright beachfront restaurant.

Throughout the week leading up to Easter (15-20 April), an amazing array of activities will be available for children and adults alike. From soothing sunrise yoga sessions and breathing exercises to invigorating island fitness runs, water polo games and family kayak races, every guest can boost their body, while a curated calendar of cultural classes will bring all ages closer together.
