Kerala Tourism unveiled a vibrant new theme song on March 25th in Thiruvananthapuram, marking a significant step to refresh the brand’s image after a decade.Shri P. A. Mohamed Riyas, Minister of Kerala Tourism, and Corporation Mayor Smt graced the release ceremony. Arya Rajendran, and five MLAs from across the state—Shri V. K. Prashanth, Shri K. M. Sachin Dev, Shri K. U. Jenish Kumar, Shri Najeeb Kanthapuram, and Shri M. Vijin. Mayor Arya Rajendran presided over the event.
The four-minute theme song features 100 compelling visuals showcasing Kerala’s cultural richness, natural beauty, and new-age tourism experiences—from heli and Caravan Tourism to Farm and Adventure Tourism. The song, penned by Shri Manoj Kuroor and composed and sung by Shri Sreevalsan J. Menon, captures the essence of Kerala’s diverse tourism offerings, aiming to create a strong emotional connection with global audiences.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Riyas stated that the new theme song would support Kerala Tourism’s marketing campaigns as part of its ‘Look East’ policy to explore new markets, especially in East Asia. He emphasized that while the state continues to focus on its traditional markets in Europe and the Middle East, expanding its reach to countries like China, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand is equally essential.
To this end, in collaboration with Malaysian Airlines, Kerala Tourism will host around 40 tour operators and 15 social media influencers from these countries in April, showcasing the state’s unique offerings. Further, an international conclave on MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism will be held in Kochi in August, and an Ayurveda-Wellness conclave is also planned in Kozhikode, targeting key stakeholders and operators.
Smt. Sikha Surendran, Director of Kerala Tourism, welcomed the dignitaries, and Additional Director (General) Shri Vishnuraj P. concluded the function with a vote of thanks.
