According to the study, the average daily budget for A Coruña over the Easter break is £193** (€231) — over £100 below the average daily budget of £295 (€352). As well as travel budgets, the data analysis looked at trip duration and types of travel, as well as uncovering the destinations most favoured by couples, families and solo travellers. The average trip duration during this period is four days, with couples and families making up the majority of trip planners.
In terms of travel destinations, London is still as popular as ever, coming first in a ranking of top 10 cities people are planning trips to this Spring, followed by Rome, Milan, Copenhagen, Alicante, Palma, Shanghai, Budapest, Paris and Malta.

Speakspots.com’s data study analysed average budgets, taking into consideration what travellers are prepared to spend on accommodation, food and activities while in destination. Average daily budget during this period is £295 (€352), up from £268 (€320) in winter travel months – this breaks down into £135 average per night accommodation cost, £91 spent on food, and £68 set aside for activities.

Data for Spring shows people using annual leave and making the most of school holidays to take slightly longer breaks, with the majority of trips being planned for four days (59%), followed by long weekends (30%).

Travellers planning trips on Speakspots.com are asked if they want to include certain elements in their trip, such as a nature getaway or a theme park. Sixty four percent of trips planned this Spring include a pool or beach.
