Chef Nuch Woranuch, Thai Chef de Cuisine at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, brings her winning dishes from television’s Iron Chef Thailand’s One-On-One Battle this past February to Stock.Room, the popular hub for Thai and Western comfort foods. Stock.Room now offers her multi-course “A Taste of the Champion” Tasting Menu, including vegetarian options, every Friday and Saturday in its exclusive Cooking Studio.
Diners can experience Chef Nuch’s unique culinary vision: a self-taught cook deeply connected to her Suphan Buri home province northwest of Bangkok, she creates flavour-punching dishes that showcase Suphan Buri’s traditional foraged ingredients and the abundance of its rice-farming landscape. Moreover, Chef Nuch is currently the reigning and most recent Winning Challenger Chef who triumphed on Iron Chef Thailand.
Chef Nuch’s culinary artistry, honed over two decades in Bangkok’s prestigious kitchens and rooted in her personal Thai background, is on full display in her Tasting Menu. Dishes include a delicately smooth Tom Yum steamed egg custard with Alaskan king crab, crispy croquettes with shrimp chilli paste and salted egg yolk, a vibrant soft-shell crab pomelo salad and grilled lamb chop with fragrant Thai herbs and dried red curry.
Chef Nuch’s “A Taste of the Champion” Tasting Menu is available every Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. at the Cooking Studio at Stock.Room. The seven-course menu is priced at THB 1,200++ per person and the nine-course menu is THB 1,500++ per person with both requiring three-day advance reservation.
