Viking is pleased to announce the launch of ten exciting new pre- and post-hotel extensions on select European and Egyptian river itineraries.

Toulouse in France, St. Moritz in Switzerland, and Tokaj in Hungary are cities brimming with intrigue and history that Viking has not previously offered. While the cities of Amsterdam, Budapest and Cairo are familiar, they haven’t been offered on the corresponding itineraries in the past.

Pre- and post-cruise extensions are a savvy way for curious travellers to maximise their time away, allowing for extended exploration in the city of embarkation, disembarkation or even a new city altogether. Agents can significantly enhance their clients’ travel experiences by offering a seamless and stress-free journey. This approach eliminates the need to coordinate a separate itinerary of hotels, transfers and tours.

Additionally, these options are financially rewarding for agents, as bookings for Viking’s extensions earn commission when made online via the Travel Advisor Portal or via the Contact Centre prior to departure.
