This spring, The Authors’ Lounge presents an afternoon tea that captures the essence of the season while honoring the venue’s literary legacy. Once a gathering place for renowned writers, this timeless setting now welcomes guests to enjoy a selection of 13 handcrafted sweet and savory delicacies, thoughtfully created by Executive Pastry Chef Pablo Gicquel and his team.
Inspired by the colors and flavors of spring, the menu highlights include raspberry, lychee, and rose sorbet, Brontë
pistachio cake, and a strawberry elderflower doughnut—each reflecting the freshness and vibrancy of the season.
Served in an elegant ‘book’ stand, the presentation pays tribute to the literary heritage of The Authors’ Lounge, where stories and traditions come to life. With its colonial charm and sunlit interiors, the space provides a refined backdrop for an afternoon of seasonal delights.
Available from 17 March to 31 May 2025, the Spring Afternoon Tea is served daily from 12pm to 6pm at The Authors’ Lounge.
