The boutique hotel Haven in Helsinki and the Finnish lifestyle brand Balmuir are launching five Balmuir Suites at Hotel Haven, elevating the experience of a hotel stay to a new level. The interiors of the suites are designed by interior designer Niina Ahonen, featuring Balmuir’s premium textiles and decor that provide both aesthetic pleasure and unparalleled comfort.
Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make the stay in the suites as relaxing and inspiring as possible. Interior designer Niina Ahonen selected two color schemes from Balmuir’s collection for the suites: Smoke and Camel. These palettes guide the overall interior design of each suite. Additionally, a visual experience has been created with Balmuir Suites art posters, illustrated by Taru Moilanen, a graphic designer, illustrator, and visual storyteller.
Each Balmuir Suite includes a stunning bed as well as lounge, dining, and work areas, ensuring versatile use of the space. The bathrooms are equipped with Balmuir’s bath textiles and room scents. Guests can enhance their stay by ordering personalized Balmuir Portofino bathrobes, champagne, and strawberries directly to the suite.
The project was carried out as sustainably as possible, adhering to sustainable development principles and emphasizing the reuse of materials and furniture. All high-quality, beautiful, and timeless elements were preserved, while selected furniture pieces were updated by curating from Haven’s existing collection. Additional value and a sense of renewal were brought to the suites with Balmuir’s textiles, decorative items, and updates to headboards and curtains.
The collaboration brings together Finnish design, quality, and immersive experiences, creating a complete experience that delights all the senses.
