Sydney Film Festival announces Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) as a Major Partner for the 72nd Sydney Film Festival, running from 4–15 June 2025.

As the Official Presenting Partner of SFFTV, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) will bring Festival audiences an enhanced outdoor cinema experience in Martin Place. Under the banner SFFTV presented by Norwegian Cruise Line, the space will feature free public screenings, exclusive Festival content, and an immersive activation showcasing the brand’s signature approach to global travel and exploration, across both close to home and international holiday destinations. This cinematic activation is expected to reach millions of Sydney-siders and visitors as SFFTV lights up the heart of the spectacular Martin Place precinct of Vivid Sydney, alongside stunning light installations.

As part of the partnership, Sydney Film Festival attendees who purchase a Subscription or Flexipass will also have the chance to win the ultimate Mediterranean holiday with Norwegian Cruise Line on a nine-day cruise aboard Norwegian Breakaway. Full details on the competition are available here.

The 72nd Sydney Film Festival will be held across Greater Sydney at iconic venues including the State TheatreEvent Cinemas George StreetDendy Cinemas NewtownRandwick RitzHayden Orpheum Picture Palace CremornePalace Cinemas Central and Norton Street, the Art Gallery of NSWCasula PowerhouseSydney Town Hall, and more, including SFFTV in Martin Place.

The first films in the 2025 program will be announced in April, with the full line-up revealed on 7 May 2025.
