
Vietnam-India air links: Robust growth since 2019
Vietjet is expanding its Vietnam-India flight network with two new direct routes: Ho Chi Minh City–Hyderabad and Ho Chi Minh City–Bengaluru, launched on March 18 and March 19, 2025, respectively. The Ho Chi Minh City–Hyderabad route operates two round-trip flights per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while the Ho Chi Minh City–Bengaluru route offers three round-trip flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. These new services are expected to strengthen air connectivity between the two countries, fostering tourism, business collaborations, and regional accessibility.

With these additions, Vietjet is solidifying its position as the airline with the most extensive flight network between Vietnam and India. The airline now operates 10 routes with 78 weekly flights, connecting Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang to India’s major cities, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
To mark this milestone, the airline is offering a 20% discount (*)on other Vietnam-India routes with the promo code “HOLIINDIA”, for travel between April 1 and September 30, 2025 (**).
Since launching the Ho Chi Minh City-New Delhi route in 2019, Vietjet has been a pioneer in expanding air links between Vietnam and India, operating over 8,300 flights and transporting nearly 1.62 million passengers.

Vietjet is enhancing access between Vietnam and Japan with two new routes linking Ho Chi Minh City with Nagoya and Fukuoka, the third- and fourth-largest cities of “the Land of the Rising Sun.” As Ho Chi Minh City serves as a regional gateway, the new routes will enhance tourism, economic growth, and cultural ties between Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia, and across the wider region.

The Ho Chi Minh City–Nagoya route is set to launch on April 24, 2025, operating four weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Meanwhile, the Ho Chi Minh City–Fukuoka route will commence operation on April 25, 2025, with three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. With these additions, Vietjet will operate 138 weekly flights across 10 direct routes between Vietnam and Japan, connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Hiroshima.
To celebrate the new routes, Vietjet is offering a special promotion for all Japan–Vietnam routes until March 26, 2025. Passengers can book Eco-class tickets starting from USD0 (*) for flights between April 24 and November 30, 2025 (**).
