FlyPelican takes a significant step forward in regional connectivity launching its inaugural direct morning flights from Newcastle to the Gold Coast this Monday, March 24, 2025. A route launch event will be held from 6:00am to celebrate this new travel option for our region.
This new service, operating four days a week, marks a significant expansion of FlyPelican’s network, offering enhanced connectivity and flexibility for both business and leisure travellers. The early morning departures are particularly beneficial for business travellers, aligning with Newcastle Airport’s commitment to increasing travel options and enhancing regional connectivity.
Newcastle Airport Interim CEO Andrew Warrender and FlyPelican CEO Marty Hawley will be available for interviews.
