Emirates - LogoIn a bold and strategic move, Emirates has announced a robust expansion of its A350 network, unveiling seven new destinations across four continents as the airline cements its dominance in premium air travel. This sweeping initiative reflects Emirates’ unwavering commitment to innovation, global connectivity, and delivering unmatched in-flight luxury.

Beginning this summer, Emirates’ state-of-the-art A350 aircraft—celebrated for its fuel efficiency and next-generation cabin design—will begin serving the following cities:

  • Tunis: Six weekly flights (excluding Tuesdays), launching 1 June 2025
  • Amman: Daily A350 service on EK 905/906, also beginning 1 June 2025
  • Istanbul: Daily flights EK 117/118, starting 1 July 2025
  • Dammam: First-ever A350 service to Saudi Arabia from 1 July 2025
  • Ho Chi Minh City: Emirates’ Southeast Asia A350 debut, daily from 1 August 2025
  • Baghdad: Three times weekly (Mon/Wed/Sun) from 3 August 2025
  • Oslo: Daily service launches 1 September 2025

The expansion is not limited to new destinations. Emirates will increase A350 frequency to Bahrain and Kuwait, with Bahrain transitioning to nearly complete A350 operations by 1 June and a second daily A350 added for Kuwait from 1 October. Additionally, Bologna will receive its first A350 a month earlier than scheduled—on 1 June 2025.

This landmark announcement signals a new chapter for Emirates, with the A350’s debut in Africa (Tunis), Southeast Asia (Ho Chi Minh City), and Saudi Arabia (Dammam). Each route represents a vital link in the Emirates’ global network, offering enhanced access to business and leisure travellers.

“Our strategic A350 expansion across diverse geographies in the Middle East/GCC, Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia leverages the aircraft’s operational flexibility and efficiency,” said Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates. “We’re offering more customers expanded premium travel options and the opportunity to experience our latest generation interiors in more cities than ever before.”

Kazim added that these enhancements solidify Emirates’ role as the airline of choice for global travellers seeking world-class service and unmatched onboard experiences.

The Emirates A350 boasts 312 seats across three refined cabin classes:

  • 32 Business Class lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration
  • 21 Premium Economy seats
  • 259 Economy Class seats with extra pitch and comfort

Each cabin is thoughtfully designed to exceed modern travellers’ expectations, blending technological innovation with elegant design.

Features include:

  • Wireless charging in Business Class
  • Smart digital menus via Emirates’ iconic ice entertainment system
  • 4K HDR cinematic displays with ultra-responsive touchscreens
  • USB-C 60W charging at every seat
  • Dual Bluetooth connectivity for personal headsets
  • Electric window blinds showcasing the Ghaf tree motif
  • Touchscreen call buttons and an upgraded onboard bar area
