As the sun shines brighter, Monaco is gearing up for an exciting spring and summer season filled with new culinary experiences, highly anticipated reopenings, and spectacular events.

New eco-district and culinary delights

  • Mareterra, Monaco’s new floating eco-district built entirely on reclaimed land, sets a new standard in sustainable coastal urbanisation. Food lovers will be thrilled to discover new restaurants in this new neighbourhood inaugurated in December 2024.
    • Marlow: A new quintessentially English restaurant by Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, offers a refined dining experience with a focus on classic British cuisine. Inspired by late 19th century English literature, Marlow tells the story of Lady M., a fictional British Lady who welcomes her guests into a unique universe.
    • 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant: The renowned establishment brings world-class Asian flavours to Monaco, offering an unparalleled Japanese haute cuisine experience.
    • Across the road from Mareterra, a new fine dining restaurant, Robuchon Monaco, opened its doors in December. Guests can enjoy the iconic dishes that made the late, multi-Michelin-starred chef famous, such as the signature mashed potatoes and crab with caviar, which remain on the menu.
  • In addition, some of Monaco’s most beloved seasonal hotspots are reopening:
    • The Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel reveals a new 2025 season with its reopening on 14 April, driven by renewal, reinforcing the status of the iconic “Beach” as an eternally chic and glamorous seaside hotel and club. Highlights include a new décor around the Olympic pool and Le Deck restaurant, the launch of a new festive restaurant “Sea Satin”, a “marine garden” concept at Elsa restaurant, and more.
    • Nobu Monte-Carlo at Fairmont Monte-Carlo Hotel has reopened its doors on 6 March. After its renovation in 2024, the iconic Japanese and Peruvian fusion restaurant is now ready to celebrate spring, with a seven-course seasonal Omakase menu and a signature cocktail available until the end of April.
    • The Condamine Market, a cornerstone of Monaco’s culinary and local culture, is set to undergo a 13-month renovation starting in January 2026. The new design will enhance capacity and modernise facilities while maintaining the market’s traditional and historical architecture.

Exciting events & cultural highlights

Monaco’s spring and summer seasons are packed with thrilling events and cultural exhibitions that promise to captivate visitors and locals alike.

  • From 29 March 2025, the “Mediterranean 2050” exhibition at the Oceanographic Museum invites visitors to explore the future of the Mediterranean Sea. Through cutting-edge scientific research and immersive displays, the exhibition highlights the environmental challenges and innovations shaping the region’s future.
  • A double dose of Grand Prix action:
    • 3-4 May 2025: The Monaco E-Prix, where the latest electric racing technology takes centre stage. For the first time, the event will feature two races over the weekend, with competitions on both Saturday and Sunday, offering fans an extended experience on the iconic Monaco circuit.
    • 22-25 May 2025: The legendary Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix, a must-see spectacle that brings the world’s top drivers to the legendary street circuit. For the first time, each driver is required to make at least two pit stops during the race, aiming to diversify race strategies and enhance on-track excitement. Plus, a major change is on the horizon: from 2026 until 2031, the Monaco Grand Prix will take place on the first full weekend of June instead of its traditional May slot.
  • 8 July – 31 August 2025: The Grimaldi Forum Monaco marks its 25th anniversary with a special exhibition, “Colors”, featuring over a hundred masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou’s prestigious collection, including paintings by about thirty key artists, from Pablo Picasso, Amedeo Modigliani, Henri Matisse, Vassily Kandinsky, and many others. A true sensory and visual journey will invite visitors to rethink their perception of colour in modern art. Monochromatic spaces will be enriched with sound creations and olfactory atmospheres created in collaboration with the Fragonard perfume house.

Monaco’s spring and summer seasons promise unforgettable moments for all. Whether travellers are seeking fine dining, thrilling motorsport action, or artistic inspiration, the Principality is ready to impress.
