The Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) is spotlighting women’s strength and perseverance in the travel industry. In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, CATO will award 10 complimentary tickets to outstanding women who have demonstrated exceptional emotional resilience in the past year. The event, set to take place on Thursday, 6 March 2025, at Q Events, Melbourne, promises to be an inspiring occasion fostering industry unity and empowerment.
Recognizing Strength in the Travel Industry
The past years have presented formidable challenges for the travel industry, testing professionals at every level. To acknowledge those who have faced adversity with courage and determination, CATO invites industry members to nominate peers who have exhibited extraordinary resilience, leadership, and perseverance in difficult times.
“These are the individuals who have not only weathered storms but have emerged stronger, inspiring those around them,” said CATO. “Through this initiative, we aim to celebrate their unwavering spirit and give them the recognition they deserve.”
How to Nominate
Industry professionals can submit nominations by emailing [email protected] with the following details:
- Nominee’s Name and Company
- Nominator’s Name and Contact Details
- A Brief Statement (200 Words or Less) detailing how the nominee has displayed emotional resilience over the past year
If selected, the nominee and the nominator will receive a complimentary ticket to attend the event. Nominations close on Friday, 21 February 2025, and the winners will be announced shortly thereafter.
