This festive event was dedicated to curate authentic, immersive, and meaningful connections with our clients, and we are convinced that this commitment will continue to fuel our ambition of elevating the luxury retail experience in Hainan,” says Raymond Chew, Managing Director at Cartier Hainan.

Sculpted to stimulate all five senses, the exclusive salon featured the Maison’s emblematic panther, symbolically leaving behind a trail of blessings for those who visited. The space unfolded to offer experiential journeys of craft and culture, connecting travelers with the Maison’s savoir-faire, while celebrating the festivity with their loved ones in a meaningful way.

  • Journey of Craft: An exploration into the world of traditional crafts led visitors to discover the art of Chinese calligraphy, origami, and the intricate techniques of Chinese paper cutting. Each activity was enhanced by the symbolic presence of the panther, adding a touch of elegance to the traditional arts experience.
  • Journey of Culture: At the heart of the salon were immersive workshops on the cultures of tea appreciation and guzheng (Chinese zither) performances. The timeless tradition of the Chinese tea ceremony was intertwined with the fascinating history of Cartier’s connection to Asia. This was all set against the backdrop of the dynamic sounds of the guzheng – a traditional Chinese instrument with a history spanning thousands of years.
