The revamped High Bar Society blends elevated aesthetics with a cozy, intimate ambiance, creating a modern yet welcoming space for an unforgettable experience. A standout feature of the redesign is the ice cream freezer at the front, complete with a food truck-style louvre that opens to Tanjong Pagar Road, allowing passersby to sample and purchase boozy gelato at street level.
The original bar has been relocated indoors, creating a more refined and inviting space while maintaining the venue’s vibrant energy illuminated by a striking moon casting a dreamy glow and setting the mood for deep conversations and late-night boss battles.
A Love Story Crafted by a Gamer
As a passionate gamer and gelato artisan, Founder and Chef Sharon Tay has seamlessly blended her two worlds, crafting a Valentine’s experience that is both sentimental and playful. “Gaming has always been a source of inspiration for me,” says Tay, who has won multiple awards worldwide for her fabulous handcrafted gelato.
“We wanted to create something that makes couples feel like they’re stepping into a love story straight out of their favorite game,” she adds. To complete the experience, High Bar Society has loaded the ambiance with a curated playlist featuring iconic gaming soundtracks, tables adorned with pink roses, and a cozy yet vibrant setting that’s perfect for unlocking heart containers.
