New Routes to Japan and Beyond
The A350-900 will initially serve two key routes from Korean Air’s Seoul Incheon International Airport hub. Passengers travelling to Osaka can enjoy this cutting-edge aircraft on twice-daily flights, while those heading to Fukuoka will benefit from daily operations. By March, the A350-900 will also be deployed on the Seoul Incheon-Taipei route, with plans to extend service to long-haul destinations, including Madrid and Rome, by the year’s second half.
This strategic rollout addresses increasing passenger demand and strengthens Korean Air’s capacity, particularly as the airline continues its integration with Asiana Airlines.

The cabin features innovations that prioritize passenger well-being, such as lower cabin altitude pressure to reduce fatigue and advanced soundproofing that minimizes noise levels by 4-6 decibels compared to similar aircraft. These enhancements ensure a quieter and more relaxing journey for all travellers.
Prestige Class: Luxury Redefined
Prestige Class passengers will enjoy a 1-2-1 staggered seat configuration, guaranteeing direct aisle access for every traveller. The 28 seats in this class offer generous 22-inch widths and can fully recline into 77-inch flatbeds, providing unparalleled comfort and privacy. Each seat has an 18.5-inch personal display and a touchscreen remote control for effortless access to an extensive in-flight entertainment library.
Economy Class: Designed for Comfort
Economy Class, accommodating 283 passengers in a 3-3-3 layout, offers ergonomic seating with a pitch of 32-33 inches and a width of 18 inches. Experienced pilots underwent six months of intensive training at the Airbus Asia Training Center in Singapore, with additional programs designed to establish in-house training capabilities. Maintenance teams also completed three European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)-approved type training courses, further solidifying the airline’s operational readiness.
