Visit SLO CAL, the official destination marketing and management organization (DMMO) for San Luis Obispo County (SLO CAL), today announced the launch of its 2025 SLO CAL Official Visitor Magazine, produced in partnership with a new publisher, Wanderlust Content Studio. Available now, the magazine features Cambria’s iconic Covell Ranch on its cover and showcases SLO CAL’s diverse region, charming towns and renowned farm-to-table cuisine. The magazine will be distributed to over 200 locations, both inside and outside of SLO CAL. It is also available digitally online and can be shipped for free upon request via slocal.com/plan-your-trip/visitors-magazine.

“The transformation of this year’s magazine is thanks in part to our collaboration with Wanderlust Content Studio,” said Visit SLO CAL’s President & CEO, Cathy Cartier. “The publication captures the essence of our region and highlights SLO CAL’s commitment to wellness, sustainability and local businesses. This edition continues to showcase the incredible experiences and offerings that make this region so special for both locals and visitors alike.”

The 2025 Visitor Magazine embraces a fresh new design, featuring custom illustrated maps and expanded feature stories, with a total of 120 glossy pages – double the size of previous issues. Editorial highlights include “Savor SLO CAL” (page 40), a comprehensive guide to the region’s culinary scene, from Michelin stars to farmers markets; interviews with locals, including artisans (page 92) and female winemakers (page 66); and an itinerary-style region guide (page 32) that emphasizes proximity and accessibility throughout SLO CAL.

“We are grateful to partner with Visit SLO CAL on the 2025 SLO CAL Visitor Magazine,” said Nicole Bordges, Co-Founder of Wanderlust Content Studio. “This magazine is crafted with care and creativity to showcase the uniqueness of the region. In collaboration with Visit SLO CAL, our team has worked hard to ensure that each page tells a story, whether it’s about the region’s local wineries, commitment to sustainability or its outdoor adventures. With a focus on engaging, high-quality content and captivating visuals, this magazine will serve as an inspiring guide to anyone looking to explore the best of SLO CAL.”

The print publication will be distributed at select California Welcome Centers, area airports, hotels, attractions, pedestrian-friendly businesses and other strategic visitor-focused locations in SLO CAL’s direct drive market.
