The city’s New Year’s Eve celebration, “America’s Party,” captivated over 340,000 visitors with an electrifying combination of advanced technology, dazzling fireworks, and the debut of Sphere as the official countdown landmark.
A Countdown Like No Other
Marking a historic first, Sphere’s Exosphere—the world’s largest LED screen—became the focal point of the countdown to midnight. With a mesmerizing custom display, Sphere celebrated major global cities’ transitions into the New Year before culminating in a vibrant, synchronized display for Las Vegas.
“Sphere’s countdown elevated Las Vegas’ iconic New Year’s celebration to unprecedented heights, solidifying the city and Sphere as global landmarks,” remarked event organizers.

Fireworks Across the Iconic Strip
The highlight of the evening was the eight-minute pyrotechnic spectacle choreographed by Fireworks by Grucci. Exploding from the rooftops of nine legendary resorts, the show illuminated the Strip with vibrant red, blue, yellow, and silver hues symbolizing Las Vegas’ dynamic energy:

Titled “Making Vegas Memories,” the display required 3,795 hours of meticulous planning and installation over five days. Seventy-one pyrotechnicians and 90 security personnel ensured seamless execution atop the resorts.
A Storied Tradition
Celebrating its 24th year, “America’s Party” has become a Las Vegas hallmark since its inception in 2000. This year’s instalment marked the 20th collaboration with Fireworks by Grucci, which has choreographed 18 consecutive shows.
“Each year, we strive to top the last, and 2025’s celebration was no exception,” said a Grucci spokesperson.
