Good Vibez Presents, the team behind the beloved California Roots Music & Arts Festival, is proud to announce the arrival of their traveling Holo Holo Music Festival to Oceanside, California, on January 18th, 2025. “‘Holo Holo’ means ‘to travel, to sail, to move,” says O‘ahu-born Good Vibez co-owner, Dan Sheehan. “This familiar expression is most often heard between friends as in ‘let’s holo holo up country,’” Sheehan says when detailing the festival’s origin. The inaugural Holo Holo Music Festival took place in Northern California in 2022, but “this event desires movement.” From there, the next Holo Holo landed in Las Vegas—the 9th island—where it’s set to return for the 3rd time in 2025. Naturally, as the festival expands and moves, islanders and fans of the Polynesian Islands’ music, food, and culture show up time and time again to celebrate and dance together at Holo Holo.
The latest iteration of Holo Holo Music Festival will take place at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside on January 18th with performances from Common Kings, Josh Tatofi, Spawnbreezie, K’Nova, and 8RO8, and will be hosted by Western Conference. Like all Holo Holos, Island vendors and food options abound and families are encouraged to attend the all-ages event together.
Tickets for Holo Holo Oceanside go on sale Friday, November 15th, at 10 am PST and can be purchased right here. For more information, please visit holoholofestival.com.
