Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa is welcoming guests to Fiji’s first ever two level, European inspired beach club with infinity pool – Urban Sugar. Positioned on the Wailoaloa Beachfront, guests can sip cocktails and listen to local and international DJs spinning tracks into the night.
Open to visitors and resort guests Urban Sugar promises a premium beachfront experience to watch the sunset or usher in the new year. Vibrant island vibes extend to the signature cocktails and elevated dining experience, with a focus on fresh seafood, grilled meats and Fijian influenced local bites. Plus, a series of set menus designed to be shared as a group.
A standout of the beach club is the live music from local artists and DJs as well as international DJs, entertaining guests every Wednesday – Sunday. Happy hour is everyday from 4 – 5pm, with an impressive drinks list featuring a range of champagnes and Provençal rosés, local and international beers, as well as bespoke spirits from gin to whiskey.
Shaun Parsons, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Fiji, said the opening of Urban Sugar elevates Crowne Plaza as a destination for travellers, offering a high end venue to relax and escape.
“We are thrilled to introduce Urban Sugar beach club, the first of its kind in Fiji. With the perfect combination of world-class dining, entertainment, and an unbeatable beach location, it’s quickly becoming a favourite destination for both locals and international visitors.”
Urban Sugar can accommodate up to 100 guests for private events on the upper deck. For these groups areas can be reserved for a party, special occasion or work function with an unbeatable view over Wailoaloa Beach and Nadi Bay.
“Urban Sugar strengthens our commitment to making Crowne Plaza a destination for travellers, it adds another dimension to our resort offering, complementing the renovations and new developments we’ve introduced throughout the year. The modern beach club will serve as a focal point for the resort, making it a leading destination for upscale travel in the region,” added Parsons.
The resort’s offerings will continue to expand into the new year with two new resort pools opening, the dedicated Tutuwalu Kids Club and Convention Centre for events and functions for up to 900 guests opening in the first half.
