In a significant milestone for affordable international travel, Thai AirAsia X has resumed its direct flight service between Bangkok (Don Mueang International Airport) and Sydney, Australia. The inaugural flight departed on December 1, 2024, marking a significant expansion in connectivity for both leisure and business travellers.

Operating six times a week, this new route establishes Thai AirAsia X as the sole low-cost carrier offering direct flights between Don Mueang and Sydney. This service simplifies travel and unlocks a world of seamless FlyThru connections to over 50 popular destinations across Thailand and Asia, including Krabi, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Japan, South Korea, India, and China.
