Celebrated Japanese YAKITORI brand, Torikizoku, is poised to unveil its first Hong Kong location at Tuen Mun Town Plaza on December 16. The dedicated Japanese team has arrived in Hong Kong to prepare for this momentous opening behind the scenes, bringing with them the authentic flavours of YAKITORI and the lively, communal essence of izakaya culture at accessible prices.
Occupying 2,000 square feet, the new restaurant can accommodate nearly a hundred guests, featuring seating arrangements for both couples and small groups—ideal for family gatherings and casual meet-ups. As experts in YAKITORI, Torikizoku will offer a menu that mirrors its popular Japanese counterpart, showcasing a diverse selection of chicken skewers, including chicken wings, chicken liver, heart, gizzards, skin, gristle, and neck meat—all grilled to perfection and enhanced with their signature secret sauce, salt, or spicy seasonings.
To ensure an authentic dining experience, the restaurant has imported specialized grilling equipment directly from Japan. Before the grand opening, the culinary team also travelled to Japan to master the art of YAKITORI under the guidance of seasoned chefs, honing techniques that lock in moisture and precisely control cooking temperatures. This meticulous approach guarantees that every skewer served is not only delicious but also perfectly succulent, delivering the exquisite flavours of Torikizoku to Hong Kong.
