Leading coach touring and cruise operator Globus family of brands (GFOB) has announced that its new innovative globally integrated Travel Advisor Portal (TAP) will go live in December, enhancing the booking experience for Australian travel advisors. To support advisors on the integration, GFOB is launching a series of training webinars, kicking off from Thursday, 5 December.
The new TAP has been designed to make booking management easier and more efficient and the training webinars will educate advisors on the updates and features they can expect from the new portal. Open to all agents, the webinars will give advisors an opportunity to get a sneak peek of the new system and familiarise themselves with the platform ahead of launch, including:
- How to access the new TAP (steps for logging in or signing up)
- How to make and manage bookings
- New-look invoices and client documentation (overview of changes in format)
- Accessing the new training platform
- How to use marketing tools to create personalised materials
- Portal navigation tips
For those who can’t make it, GFOB will be sharing step-by-step instructions on using the portal ahead of the launch, as well as an FAQ document to answer any questions concerned with the integration.
Some of the new features of the portal include:
- Improved reservation system: An upgraded booking interface that offers improved functionality and a user-friendly experience.
- Trade training program: A brand-new training platform, GFOB University, aimed at equipping advisors with all the knowledge and tools necessary to successfully book GFOB products for their clients.
- Custom marketing resources: A new marketing tool, The Source, where agents can customise their own marketing materials, enhancing their ability to engage potential customers with personalised content.
- Commission retention: Agents will be able to generate personalised itinerary links that they can share directly with their customers. Before finalising a booking, customers will be prompted to return to their agent, thus, helping the agent retain their commission.
“We are excited for the imminent arrival of our new globally integrated travel agent portal,” said Brett Simon, head of commercial ANZ. “We are committed to ensuring our advisors are set up for success to maximise the portal’s efficiencies, so have prioritised creating an abundance of training and educational resources to support them in this process.”
