Find unique holiday season gifts for the entire family at the inaugural King St Christmas Markets at the Brisbane Showgrounds this Friday.
The twilight markets hosted by The Market Folk will feature 35 stalls showcasing local handmade jewellery, ceramics, art, homewares, fashion, ornaments and more.
To add to the festive fun, there will be live music by Jaeden O and Ron Walker, plus food from King Street eateries including Il Verde, Yum Char, Xin Chao and Super Combo, along with Scoop Club ice cream.
Attendees can also get a free photo with Santa and pose for a free painted portrait for both people and pets.
Brisbane Showgrounds General Manager of Venue Sales and Marketing Jago Coyle said it was great to see so much festive cheer at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
“We love this time of year when we host many Christmas markets and parties throughout November and December,” Mr Coyle said.
“We will then round out the celebrations with Wildlands Festival on New Year’s Eve, which is expecting almost 30,000 people.”
The King St Christmas Markets will take place in King Street this Friday from 4-8pm.
