Fancy marvelling at the Acropolis, hiking the historic Byzantine Path, taking in the Temple of Apollo and exploring Santorini’s Caldera?
New travel company, Island Hopping, has launched an eight-day ‘Hike Greece’ tour covering the best of the Cyclades islands. Starting in the ancient city of Athens, guests will venture on foot through the picturesque islands of Paros, Naxos and Santorini.
The small group tour will take like-minded travellers off the beaten track accompanied by experienced hike guides offering unique insights into the country’s rich history, flora, fauna and culture. Daily hikes will average 2.3 hours and 5.6km, leaving plenty of time for guests to get to know their fellow travellers over a traditional Greek meal, sip wine on the volcanic island of Santorini and relax as they take in the sea views.
The seven-night tour starts from €1,349 per person for the departure on the 28th of April.
The tour includes air-conditioned accommodation in small boutique hotels (based on two sharing), breakfast daily, ferry tickets and port transfers, services of a hiking guide, plus a local wine tasting in Santorini.
The ‘Hike Greece’ tour is the second to be added to Island Hopping’s portfolio for 2025.
Island Hopping is a new family-owned and run travel brand, established by the founders of Sail Croatia. Island Hopping appeals to guests of all ages who want to experience a hidden side of the Greek Islands beyond the guidebooks.
