The 2024 Global Stars program has just concluded for 2024. This year the itinerary was so jam packed full of must-see destinations and experiences that it had to be split into 4 groups! Each exploring all that Southern California had to offer across San Diego, Palm Springs, Anaheim and Huntington Beach before coming together for the ultimate Global Stars Celebration and Awards Gala Dinner Event at the rooftop of the JW Marriot Anaheim.
The trip highlights were many and varied from an ice-hockey game with the Anaheim Ducks, to visits to Disneyland and an exclusive dessert party watching the world of colour – ONE incredible light show, to surfing lessons and s’mores on Huntington beach and a speedboat adventure in San Diego’s Big Bay.
Peter Douglas, National Sales Manager spoke of the trip.
“It was such a great trip and to return in Viva Holliday’s 50th year to Southern California where our first Global Stars was held was very special. The agents deserved all the spoiling they received for their incredible support of Viva Holidays, Ready Rooms and GO Holidays. Many expressed a desire to return for Global Stars 2025. As well as having some incredible experiences, a real highlight was the time we all got to spend together celebrating. I think Anna Hildebrand from Helloworld Travel Esperance in WA sums it up perfectly.”

As I reflect on the last week, I am keenly aware that when at home I am always saying ‘I’m so busy don’t have time to do that’ and yet this week we had time to have a midnight burger, a late-night drink, a conversation with no time limits, to get out of comfort zones and feel things! I have returned home with new friendships that I shall nurture, wisdom that I shall impart and a very full cup! Thank you everyone, I shall treasure this experience.”
