These trips provided a firsthand experience of Japan’s diverse travel offerings. The famil was structured to align with specific travel themes and regions, ensuring the group experienced Japan’s distinct attractions and local experiences tailored to their market.
From 15-20 October, 2024, three product managers joined a JNTO host and English-speaking guide for the Cruise-Focused Trade Familiarisation Tour on Kyushu, exploring destinations like Fukuoka, Beppu, Takachiho Gorge, and Kumamoto. The four-night, five-day tour showcased Kyushu’s coastal and scenic cruise opportunities for travel itineraries.
JNTO is excited to see the impact of this famil as the participants share their newfound knowledge and continue to build new product for your clients next pre or post cruise adventure.
The attendees loved the sights of Takachiho Gorge, Kyushu.
Harriett Bougher, Business Development and Senior Assistant Marketing Manager for JNTO hosted the participants, comments, “We showcased the beauty, easy accessibility and uniqueness of areas in Kyushu still relatively unknown by the Australian market. Our goal of this famil is that, with firsthand insight and experience, our carefully selected participants will be able to craft tour products that will encourage more Australians to travel to Kyushu pre and post cruise travel.”
