The two-day competition tested candidates on various skills. On November 7, the contestants tackled a demanding 100-question exam crafted by esteemed Master Sommelier Mr. Joao Pires, followed by an intense wine service evaluation. The top ten sommeliers advanced to a critical blind-tasting round the next day, which narrowed the field to three finalists: Mr. Suppawat Teeta, Miss Sudarat Jankaew from Blue by Alain Ducasse, and Mr. Suvit Chanphen from Soneva Kiri.

The finalists competed onstage across eight complex tasks in front of 400 wine professionals and aficionados, demonstrating their technical and service expertise. After an impressive display, Mr Suppawat Teeta emerged as the champion, with Miss Sudarat Jankaew and Mr Suvit Chanphen securing second and third places, respectively.

As the winner, Mr. Suppawat Teeta receives an exclusive trip to the celebrated wine regions of Chile and Argentina, along with the honour of representing Thailand in the ASI Best Sommelier of Asia & Pacific competition in 2025. The runners-up also received valuable prizes, recognising their commitment to excellence in the field.
