GroupPremier independent travel network Envoyage has launched an educational event series aimed at helping its members grow their businesses.
Envoyage Amplify will occur quarterly and cover a series of topics designed to further involve members in the brand’s strategic direction, which kicked off yesterday with a deep dive on New Distribution Capability (NDC).
Envoyage General Manager Australia Nick Queale said the event series is a direct response to feedback from its member network.
“We recently conducted a survey with our members and the resounding feedback was that they want to learn more about how to leverage our extensive ecosystem and industry connections to grow their own brands.
“The Envoyage Amplify series reflects our commitment to investing in professional development. By addressing the needs of our members, we’re not only reinforcing our strategic objectives but also fostering a culture of collaboration, which is a huge part of our DNA.
“Members will get to submit questions for each session ahead of time so that the content we deliver is completely aligned with what they want to hear.

“We’re really looking forward to sharing knowledge that can drive further success across our thriving network.”
The first event today focused on the brand’s NDC strategy, led by Envoyage Australia General Manager Nick Queale who was joined by Flight Centre Travel Group General Manager Air Distribution Chris Wilks and Envoyage Global Chief Product Officer – Technology Wendie Lee.
Ms Lee said focusing on NDC for the first event was a strategic choice.
“We’re on a journey of embracing new technology and naturally NDC is a big part of this conversation, so it felt right to kick off the event series with a deep dive on this topic.
“We invited our members into a discussion around our NDC channel strategy, the future direction of the platform and airline integration timelines, and it was valuable to not only share this information with them, but to be able to respond to their questions in the panel format.
“It’s important to us that our members come on that journey with us and have an in-depth understanding as to how we’re modernising the business.”
Envoyage Member and Travelcation Group CEO Jake Chiem said the session increased his confidence in NDC.
“Overall, it was really informative and helpful. I’d put off learning NDC for a while because it seemed daunting, but yesterday’s Amplify event gave me a lot of clarity and confidence to go forward and put my learnings into practice.
