Luxury expedition brand, Atlas Ocean Voyages, will next year chart an adventure-filled journey from the top of Scotland to the wilds of the Shetland and Faroe islands and on to the grand fjords of Norway, with guests treated to stargazing sessions by an onboard astronomer.

Cruise Traveller’s new, 14-night ‘Tartan and Tides’ package begins on June 16, 2025, with a night in Edinburgh, followed by a 12-night sailing aboard Atlas Ocean Voyages’ luxury, 198-guest expedition ship World Voyager.
As a smaller ship, World Voyager will visit tiny and remote destinations on this journey that larger vessels cannot access such as the tiny, Scottish fishing village of Scrabster at the top of Scotland, the quaint, far-north settlements of the Shetland Islands, with its Iron Age remnants, an overnight stay in the spectacular Faroe Islands, famous for their Viking history and colourful houses, and the Norwegian towns of Gudvangen, Maloy, Alesund and Molde from where guests can explore dramatic fjords and mountain scenery. The voyage, which includes onboard stargazing sessions by expert astronomer, Charles Barclay, ends in Trondheim in Norway, where guests will spend a night in a hotel to end the holiday.
The 14-night cruise and stay package is available from A$9995 per person, twin-share, in an Oceanview stateroom – a saving of A$1399 per person. Fares include unlimited onboard beverages, specialty dining, a cultural immersion experience ashore, gratuities and deluxe L’Occitane bath amenities.
