W Maldives is set to reopen in January 2025 following a bold, full-scale renovation, marking it as the first W Hotel to debut under the brand’s global rebranding initiative. Located on the stunning Fesdu Island in North Ari Atoll, just a 25-minute seaplane ride from Malé, the resort will offer 77 redesigned overwater and beach villas. Each villa blends indoor and outdoor living, featuring private pools and luxurious outdoor spaces that seamlessly connect guests to the surrounding natural beauty.

The transformation includes an elevated dining and bar experience with new concepts such as Ocean-to-Table dining at FISH, Nikkei cuisine and Latin American cocktails at SIP, and beachside barbecue at FIRE. Staying true to W Hotels’ forward-thinking ethos, W Maldives will also introduce a suite of sustainability initiatives, including eliminating single-use plastics, installing a biogas plant to recycle food waste, and creating an in-house herb and fruit plantation by the end of 2025.

The Lake Como EDITION is slated to open in spring 2025 with 142 guest rooms, including two penthouse suites, a lively lobby bar, a floating pool, and several restaurants and bars overlooking Lake Como with breath-taking views of the Bellagio mountains. The property is a 19th century building located on the western shore of the prestigious Lake Como, a short drive from Central Milan. It will be converted into a luxury lifestyle destination that brings new life to Lake Como while honoring the intimate history of the building and its rich heritage.

The Red Sea EDITION

EDITION’s second hotel in Saudi Arabia will be located on the main island of The Red Sea Project, Shura. Scheduled to open with 240 guest rooms and an array of suites, The Red Sea EDITION will also feature two restaurants and multiple bars along with a gym, swimming pool, and spa.

The Dali EDITION

Nestled on a hillside halfway up the Cangshan Mountain, The Dali EDITION, which marks the brand’s third property in China, is expected to establish a new benchmark for the luxury hotel segment in Yunnan Province. Dali, a well-known travel destination in Southwestern China, is known for its picturesque natural scenery, diverse ethnic culture, and vibrant nightlife. At an altitude of 2,090 meters, Dali is well situated on a fertile plateau between the Cangshan Mountain to the west and Erhai Lake to the east. It has traditionally been a significant center on the routes westward from Kunming to the Tibet Autonomous Region. The Dali EDITION will offer convenient accessibility to public transportation, including the Dali Railway Station and Dali Fengyi Airport. The hotel will also allow guests to immerse themselves in natural, cultural and recreational experiences, with its proximity to local attractions such as Cangshan Mountain Scenic Area, Three Pagodas, Dali Old Town, and Dali Stone Mountain Golf Club.

With its interior design led by the acclaimed Shenzhen Cheng Chung Design, The Dali EDITION will remain rooted in the brand’s strong sense of simplicity and style. The hotel is expected to offer 150 luxurious, serene guest rooms including suites as well as villas with private pools, most of which will provide breathtaking views of either the Cangshan Mountain or Erhai Lake. The hotel is also slated to feature multiple restaurants and bars, which will offer a selection of food and beverage options that celebrate culinary innovation and reflect the best of the destination. Additional highlights include a swimming pool, gym, spa, recreational activities center, and conference and event spaces including a 600-square-meter outdoor lawn.

Rosewood Doha (2025)

Rosewood Miyakojima’s 55 villa accommodations will feature private pools, landscaped gardens and unobstructed sea views. Conceived by Netherlands-based Studio Piet Boon, the architecture and interiors are seamlessly designed to immerse guests in the natural surroundings and express harmony with the island through the extensive use of local materials. Mitsubishi Jisho Sekkei Inc. is providing local architectural expertise and support in realizing the design vision. Four restaurants and bars will include relaxed beachfront concepts showcasing fresh seafood, prized island-raised beef, locally distilled spirits and craft beer. With a stunning seascape as a backdrop, the resort’s indoor and outdoor event venues will host unforgettable destination weddings and private celebrations. On-site recreation will include a standalone Rosewood Explorer’s Club, Rosewood’s program for younger guests designed to inspire creativity and imagination, encourage adventure, discovery and social responsibility through unique experiences attuned to the destination. Asaya, Rosewood’s pioneering integrated wellness concept, will offer treatment rooms set amid private gardens, indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy facilities and a menu of programs and services influenced by local healing traditions. Housed in the former Palace of Justice, a building of great architectural, historical, and social significance, the property will overlook the Prinsengracht (the Prince’s Canal), one of the city’s most beautiful waterways. The hotel’s location is also special as it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Amsterdam Canal District. Rosewood Amsterdam will be ideally situated near many of the city’s finest attractions including the museum district, the high-end shopping district on P.C. Hooftstraat and the hip De Pijp neighborhood. With a central location and an intuitive design, Rosewood Amsterdam will offer 134 guest rooms and suites, with many boasting spectacular views across the two adjoining canals, quiet internal courtyards, and iconic townhouse rooftops. Onsite amenities will include three restaurants and bars, an Asaya Spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an indoor swimming pool, and a 3,000 square-foot ballroom. Decorative details throughout the property’s public areas will pay homage to the signature spirit of both the building and city while creating a selection of differentiated yet unified spaces through subtle albeit impactful means. These shared spaces will all overlook the three distinct, internal landscaped courtyards of the building, varnished with lush gardens and nooks for gathering.

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has been appointed by RLH Properties to manage Rosewood Mandarina which will open in early 2025, marking Rosewood’s fourth property in Mexico. Located on Mexico’s prized Pacific Coast approximately 90 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport, the resort will be situated on the breathtaking coastline of Riviera Nayarit. Rich with a culture that is as colorful as its exotic flora and fauna, the destination is renowned for its diverse landscape where mountains, ocean and jungle meet. Dramatic cliffs separate pristine white sand beaches and offer unparalleled views of the sea. Rosewood Mandarina will be home to 134 suites, each fully equipped with private terraces, plunge pools and stunning vistas, as well as a collection of private residences. Guests will be able to choose from five bars and restaurants ranging from a specialty restaurant at the top of a mountain to a beach shack on the cliff’s edge. The resort will further offer four pools, an Asaya spa, and expansive fitness facilities. Across all guest experiences, the beachfront property will draw inspiration from the local, pre-Hispanic Huichol and Cora cultures, combining modern luxury and comfort with the deep roots of its extraordinary setting. With a focus on native wisdom and symbolism, the setting will provide visitors with exclusive access to three diverse environments: the ocean, the flatlands, and the mountains, each offering unique activities. From hiking to an ancient abuela tree and ziplining through the jungle, to horseback riding on the beach and savoring nearly endless Pacific Coast sunsets, this spiritually charged landscape provides an idyllic backdrop for travelers to connect with nature.

The hotel will mark Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ second property in London and ninth in Europe.
