LE NEGRESCO SETS SAIL FOR THE OCEANS
With its breathtaking vista over the Mediterranean, Le Negresco stands as the flagship of the Riviera since 1913. To mark the United Nations Conference on the Oceans, which will be held in Nice in June 2025, the hotel undergoes a metamorphosis in honor of this major event, with decor inspired by the mysteries of the ocean. Master florist Hervé Frézal, Best Craftsman of France, has dreamt up a palette where the colour blue, as intense as the azure of the sky, immerses guests in a world steeped in the wonders of the underwater world. This theme reflects Le Negresco’s ecological and sustainable commitments in an enchanting setting where marine biodiversity shines, leaving future generations a precious guarantee of balance and respect for our Earth.
THE SIGNATURE YULE LOG OF LE NEGRESCO
With its majestic pink dome, the icon of the Belle Époque Le Negresco rises gracefully above the Promenade des Anglais. This year, our pastry chef, Charles Bernard, has captured the essence of this architectural landmark in a genuinely spectacular pastry creation.
With its cylindrical shape, the Yule Log pays homage to the elegant curves of the dome and the monumental entrance of the hotel. Covered in a sleek white and gold coat reminiscent of the signature colours of Le Negresco, this delicious pastry reveals a soft pecan biscuit, sublimated by a light Madagascar vanilla cream and a pear confit with fresh fruit morsels. The Yule Log is adorned with milk chocolate decoration, which leaves a ripple of flavours on the palate.
A SPECIAL BREAK WITH A TASTE OF SALT
As part of the magical festive season, Le Negresco reveals its exclusive « Christmas Temptations » package. Astounded by a spectacular vista of the blue sea, guests are welcomed to their rooms, complete with a bottle of champagne and assorted chocolates. Somewhere between pleasure and contemplation, the Big Blue becomes the theatre of a timeless instant. The moment’s magic continues in the morning with a buffet breakfast in La Rotonde or a continental breakfast in the comfort of your bedroom, where you can savour the unobstructed horizon in absolute tranquillity.
Le Negresco is pledging to raise funds from every “Temptation” booking for the Lenval Foundation, which campaigns for the health, care and support of sick and vulnerable children. FDMAN (Fonds de Dotation Mesnage-Augier-Negresco) will generously match this donation up to 100% of the hotel’s funds raised.
