Year-to-date, the company has achieved a 57% increase in revenue and a 50% rise in passengers, compared to the previous year. This announcement comes at the FIT Tourism Fair, taking place in Buenos Aires this week.
The remarkable success of PriceTravel Connect in Argentina is largely due to the ongoing integration of high-potential travel agencies into its platform. “In recent months, more than 45 new wholesale agencies from Latin America have joined PriceTravel Connect, with five of these agencies based in Argentina. These agencies now benefit from PriceTravel Connect’s extensive portfolio, which includes over 45,000 direct contracts with hotels in key destinations worldwide,” said Rafael Durand, COO of PriceTravel Holding.
As source market, currently, the top-selling country destinations for the Argentinian market are Mexico and the Dominican Republic, and top city destinations are Riviera Maya, Punta Cana, Cancuìn, Bayahibe, Curaçao, New York, San Andres, Mexico City, Las Vegas and Aruba, where the company plans to extend its direct contracts in the forthcoming year.
Additionally, as a destination, PriceTravel Holding has expanded its hotel portfolio in Argentina by 25% compared to 2023, offering Argentinian travelers a wider selection of accommodations. The main source markets in 2024 include Brazil, Argentina, and Chile, reflecting a shift from the top markets in 2023, which were Brazil, Australia, and the USA.
