Leading Australian and New Zealand campervan company, JUCY Group, is rebranding as Travvia today, 1 October 2024.
Travvia Chief Executive Dan Alpe said the decision to re-launch the Group under a new umbrella brand name – Travvia – came about following the recent acquisition of Star RV, and prospects for further brand expansions.
The new name is inspired by the words Travel and Via (Latin for road) – Travvia – and embodies adventure, travel, life-changing experiences, and a company determined to unlock all these discoveries.

“The new entity, Travvia, is well-timed,” said Mr Alpe.
“The strong revival of international inbound into Australia and New Zealand will allow us to diversify our market and tap into the return of the European and North American markets who are seeking ‘experiences’.
“Our goal is to appeal to a wider global audience. Our customers have commonalities of adventure-seeking explorers – we want to put everyone in the driver’s seat, living and breathing their travel experience.
“The company has evolved dramatically since we first launched JUCY over twenty years ago, and with the integration of Star RV – a quite different product from JUCY – we needed to come up with a fresh vision that best represents our future direction.
“We identified the need to establish a corporate brand that embodies our company’s adventurous spirit, as a people-first entity, focused on enabling these dreams.
“However, the new name is industry-facing, not customer-facing. Our JUCY and Star RV branches will stay the same, the vehicles will stay the same, the main differences will be in our headquarters and business-to-business relationships.
“Travvia positions the group well to appeal to a wider trade audience in both the domestic and global markets as travel continues to renormalise following the pandemic.”
