Among those who have fallen in love with the ship is Frosa Katsis, an Australian lecturer who has spent much of 2024 onboard Celestyal Journey. Having worked on six other cruise lines, Katsis is no stranger to luxury travel but notes that Celestyal Journey’s mid-size nature offers something special.

“I have worked for six other cruise lines with large ships of over 3,500 passengers. Celestyal Journey is a mid-size ship, making it less crowded for guests but with the same high standard in meals, accommodation, and entertainment,” Katsis shares.

What stands out for Katsis is the ship’s port-intensive itineraries, allowing guests to spend extended time ashore. “The long port stopovers allow passengers to not only explore during the day but also enjoy the vibrant nightlife,” she adds.
