Formed in 2019 and based in the US, Atlas Ocean Voyages is a rapidly growing company offering year-round, five-star polar exploration journeys to wild and remote destinations in Antarctica and the Arctic as well as cultural and epicurean adventures in Europe. Atlas Ocean Voyages operates three, luxury, state-of-the-art expedition ships, each carrying up to 198 guests – World Voyager, World Traveller and World Navigator, with two more luxe ships on order. The award-winning company has quickly established itself as a leader in luxury, boutique-ship expedition cruises, drawing discerning, inquisitive and spirited explorers on authentic, all-inclusive adventures to pristine, almost out of reach destinations which larger ships cannot access.

Cruise Traveller’s new ‘All Aboard the Polar Bear Express’ begins on August 25, 2025, with a night in Oslo and a private charter flight to Longyearbyen on the remote, high Arctic, Norwegian island of Svalbard – one of the world’s most northerly settlements just 650km from the North Pole, and famous for its bountiful population of polar bears. Blessed by almost 24 hours of late summer daylight, guests will then board Atlas Ocean Voyages’ deluxe, 198-guest ship, World Traveller, for a nine-night expedition around Svalbard and its spectacular wilderness, with Zodiac excursions, onboard beverages and an exclusive, cultural immersion experience all included.

After the voyage, guests will fly back to Oslo for a small-group, eight-night land tour through Norway featuring its dramatic fjords and glaciers. The tour includes the world-renowned Flam Railway through the mountains and a cruise on one of Norway’s most famous fjords, Geiranger. The package ends in Bergen, Norway.
