Melco Resorts & Entertainment’s commitment to responsible gaming (RG) is foundational to its ethos. As a top priority for the Company, Melco takes a proactive approach towards RG and social responsibility. The Melco RG Steering Committee was founded in 2008 and is personally led by Mr. Lawrence Ho, Melco Chairman and CEO, as the Executive Sponsor. We are honored to host this photo exhibition to help promote the culture of RG to our guests, colleagues and the broader community.”
On August 28, at Studio City, the Company also organized a dedicated advanced level seminar for its RG Ambassadors (RGAs) who are key frontline managers and experts in all aspects related to RG. Specifically trained to support guests and colleagues with RG challenges, including self-exclusion practices, and provide referrals to professional counseling services, 102 Melco RGAs attended the advanced level training session hosted by Professor Davis Fong, Director of ISCG, UMAC.
Since 2021, Melco is the first and only integrated resort operator globally to be recognized by RG Check across all properties. The Company’s RG efforts have also been recognized by Asia Gaming Awards, winning its Best Responsible Gaming Program for the second consecutive year in 2024. A total of six of the Company’s locations in Macau have received a perfect score of 100% with DICJ’s Responsible Gambling Indicators, a government-endorsed RG certification.
