SWISS has reviewed the current situation in the Middle East and decided to continue suspending its flights to and from Tel Aviv until and including Monday, 2 September. Flights to and from Beirut will remain suspended until and including Monday, 30 September.

SWISS will resume using the northeastern part of Iranian airspace for overflights from Tuesday, 27 August. However, the airline will continue to avoid the remaining Iranian airspace as well as the airspaces over Iraq and Israel until further notice.

We continue to closely monitor the situation in the Middle East. Our specialists are evaluating all available information and are in constant contact with the relevant authorities both in Switzerland and on site. Based on this assessment, SWISS will decide at the appropriate time to resume the affected flight connections.

We very much regret the inconvenience caused to our flight guests, but the safety of our passengers and crew always takes top priority. We are contacting the affected passengers, offering them a free rebooking to a later travel date or a full refund of the ticket price upon request.
