After further review, SWISS has decided to extend the suspension of flights to and from Tel Aviv until Monday 12 August. In addition, SWISS will avoid all airspace over Iran until and including 7 August. This is SWISS’s response to the latest developments in the Middle East.
The airspace over Israel and Iraq has not been flown over since last Friday. Flights to and from Beirut will remain suspended up to and including Monday 12 August.
We very much regret the inconvenience this may cause our passengers, but the safety of our passengers and crew always takes top priority. Affected passengers will be contacted directly. Of course, we offer free rebooking to a later date or a full refund of the ticket price.
